Supercars: Top Tier Entertainment Locked in for 2019 13 April 2019 The 2019 BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown is gearing up to be one of the Territory’s biggest and best Supercars events, with a fantastic program of on and off-track entertainment revealed today. Set to be held from Friday, 14 June–Sunday, 16 June, the much-anticipated event will see some of Australia’s most iconic names in music travel to Darwin for the popular after race concerts, with plenty of family-friendly entertainment on offer throughout the three days as well. Australian music superstars Jimmy Barnes and The Veronicas will rock post-race party goers on Saturday, 15 June with a musically resurgent Ezekiel Ox opening, while Hidden Valley becomes Urban Valley on Sunday 16th June featuring Illy, Vera Blue, Briggs and DT3. As well as the after race concerts, this year’s BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown will see the Students on Track Program return to Hidden Valley, as well as the specially-designed Disney Fun Zone with a range of exciting children’s activities on offer including rides, slides and a Disney Pixar Cars activation. Legendary free-style motocross rider Robbie Maddison will trek back to Australia for a one-off appearance at the Darwin Supercars alongside other attractions suitable for all members of the family including the F18 Aerial Display, and Matt Mingay and the Hot Wheels Stuntz Inc Team. The motorbike stunt rider is excited to head home and showcase his latest stunts in the Northern Territory. “I’m stoked to be heading to the Top End for the 2019 BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown – I can’t wait to catch up with all of the motorsports fans in the Territory,” Maddison said “The event’s entertainment program is awesome this year and I hope fans from around the country will be able to visit Darwin and check out all the awesome action that’s set to hit the first stop of the 2019 Supercars.” While the on-track racing program again boasts a wide range of categories, such as Aussie Racing Cars, Porsche Carrera Cup, Improved production/Commodores Cup and the HQ’s. The 2019 BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown’s off-track entertainment program features numerous exciting highlights such as the Night Transporter Convoy on Wednesday, 12 June, driver signing sessions in Raintree Park and a Supercars Zone at Mindil Beach on Thursday, 13 June, and a stunt display at Palmerston Markets on Friday, 14 June.
