Volunteers

Want to be an Official at the V8 Supercars?

Becoming a motor sport official is the closest you can get to the action without being in the drivers seat. Volunteers play a vital part in motor sport and without them the sport could not function. Officials are responsible for ensuring that the sport runs safely, fairly and that the rules and regulations of motor sport are upheld.

Being an official is also an excellent opportunity to meet new and like minded people whilst enjoying the satisfaction of being part of one of the Northern Territory’s biggest events!

Opportunities exist for those interested in filling a volunteer role as an Official at the SKYCITY Triple CROWN - Round 8, 2010 V8 Supercar Championship Series, 18 - 20 June.  Vacancies currently exist in all areas including Timing, Flag Marshalling, Fire and Rescue and various Administration positions. Whatever your skills or interests there is a role to suit you.

Register your interest by completing the Registration Form and returning it to NT Major Events Company Pty Ltd by posting it to GPO Box 4396, Darwin NT 0801, or faxing it to 08 8941 4628. If you have any questions please email Major Events or call 8999 6198.

Don't worry if you do not have any experience. Major Events, in conjunction with the Confederation of Australian Motor Sports Ltd conduct the necessary training and induction requirements for all Officials. You can find more information at www.cams.com.au

Get your engines running and come and be part of the experience!
