Tickets to second Noonamah Rodeo bolting out the door

After an incredibly successful first outing for 2021 back in May, the Noonamah Rodeo will return to Darwin’s rural area on 4 September, and tickets are already selling fast.

The May event sold out in advance, with both Top Enders and visitors keen to experience a slice of outback Territory life. There are few similar experiences on offer, with bull riding, saddle broncs, freestyle motocross, BK trick riding, live music and more on the line-up. Free camping is also available.

Northern Territory Major Events Company CEO Tim Watsford said it was incredible to see the huge amount of support for the Noonamah Rodeo in May, with the September event shaping up to be just as popular.

“As Territorians we can be in the habit of waiting until the last minute to buy tickets, but this year’s bumper tourism season is proving a bit of forward planning is needed if you don’t want to miss out,” he said.

“This event is a must as it showcases part of the Territory lifestyle many have never experienced before.”

Noonamah Tavern Owner/Manager Tony Innes said he’s seen huge demand for tickets already, with only one Platinum ticket left.

“Don’t wait around, grab your ticket today and we’ll see you in the rural area for hours of family-friendly entertainment,” he said.

The event is supported by the Northern Territory Government through the Northern Territory Major Events Company.
