In addition, Motorsport Australia has confirmed that Carrera Cup Australia will be elevated to Championship status from the 2022 season and beyond, recognising the category’s importance in the nation’s motorsport landscape.

The Championship has two classes and caters for both professional drivers, pro-am drivers and includes the likes of Craig Lowndes, Dale Wood, David Russel and Luke Youlden, together with some of the most exciting junior drivers in the country.
